HAM radio

hai friends,

Have u ever heard of two way radio,similar to the cell phone we can speak at the same time to any extend throughout the world.Thats called HAM radio. I am currently trying to become a HAM.In India if you want to become a HAM you have to pass ASOC exam(an exam conducted by ministry communications).A HAM radio works even at times of natural disasters like flood,earth quake etc., it is the only technology which can be used at times of disater management.

On the other hand it is a world wide hobby which can bring together different peoples and culturals.People can exchange data about thier lifestyle,culturals etc.We can make friends worldwide through HAM radio.Now-a-days HAM is integrated with internet so that even a person without a HAM equipment can communicate through internet(ecolink software),but u should have passed the ASOC exam.

Pondicherry trip.

I love travelling to many places.This time i planed to go Pondy(pondicherry).Pondy is a peaceful place to live.After reaching to pondy by bus,i decided to go to Sunday Market along with my friend.We took a tempo(share auto) to Manikoondu. Manikoondu is the place where the market starts,Sunday market has the name because the market will be only on sundays.We went through the shops.Eden garden is the first spot we stoped,we had softy icecream and then we went straight to purchase any articles.Then we went to a cap shop which had different types of caps.Many cloth shops are present in platform.We then had milk sarbath near Petit Seminare School.The Sarbath was so nice to drink, u cant get this type of sarbath anywhere else. The shop was always crowded.The sarbath had some jelly like substances along with some small white seeds.It was so nice to have it.Then We moved on to beach. Beach is one of the finest destination at pondicherry. We walked from Gandhi statue to the Duplex statue at the end. We then had Curd Puri near the petrol bunk.The next day my destination was Sri Manakula Vinayagar Temple,it gives me some divine power when ever i enter this temple.It is also said that some siddhar is at this temple.I like the lord at this temple.When ever i visited pondy,i would never fail to vist this temple.My trip finished here.

A trip to Parvathamalai.

Parvathamalai in near to Tiruvannamalai.It would take an hour journey to reach the place through bus.Straight buses are available to Parvathamalai(can go by two routes:1.veralur bus,2.by going to polur and getting another bus to reach Parvathamalai).From bus stop about 3-4km walk is the region to start the trekking to the hill.

Don't take any plastic bags or any materials which pollute the environment.Forest officials are present at a check post ,to check if any such materials are taken.Avoid ciggarates,matchboxes and other flamable substances.Forest officials would cease it if any such is found.

It would take about 3-4 hours to reach the up hill.It is better to take some water and a little snacks to fill our hunger.Take a stick which would help you while going up the hill.Parvathmalai is the only place where you can see different ways of trekking(steps,rocks,kadapparai,ladder).Small shops are on the way up the hill but costs a little high.

On Pournami (full moon) day many devotees from far distances come to the temple at the up hill.The temple is open round the clock(24 hours).
